Bhí coícís iontach againn ag céiliúradh Seachtain Scoile Ghníomhaí! Anyone can celebrate an Active School Week, but here in Gaelscoil Bhríde, we love being active so much that we turned that week into a fortnight! The buzz was palpable around the school as both teachers and pupils got stuck into all the fun challenges. Some of our past pupils and local sporting heroes set some challenges for us to enjoy together, pitting the staff against the pupils! Lots of fun and lots of cheering and  lots of very strong pupils!! Iontach láidir agus iontach aclaí! To top off what was an absolutely fantastic fortnight, we received an accolade of which we are very proud, declaring us the most active school in all of Ireland. We received huge praise for all our efforts and most especially for the creativity & imagination shown in the many different activities. We all know the value and importance of being active and getting outside, not just for physical well being but for our mental and emotional well being also. It is such an honour that our school has been chosen as the ‘Best Active School’ in Ireland. Maith sibh go léir! Leanaimís orainn!
