Primary Game

Cé go raibh díomá orainn le Tiobraid Árann ag cailliúnt ina gcluiche inné, ba mhór an lá é do Robyn Ní Fhainín, rang 6, a d’imir camógaíocht leis an Primary Game Team ag leath ama. Táimid iontach bródúil asat Robyn!

Tréaslaímid freisin le Chloe Ní Bhroin, a imreoidh ar fhoireann peile an Primary Game an mhí seo chugainn. Tá Joe Mac Aodhgáin fós san iomaíocht i bpeil na mbuachaillí, guímid gach ádh air! B’fhéidir go mbeidh an tríú duine ag caitheamh geansaí an chontae don scoil.

We were disappointed at yesterday’s game, seeing Tipperary lose their opening game of this year’s championship but it was a very special day for one of our pupils. Robyn Fanning, Rang 6, who represented the school in the Primary Game exhibition match which was played at half time. A huge honour for Robyn and for the school.

We congratulate Chloe Byrne who has been selected to play on the Primary Game Ladies football team next month, when the Tipperary footballers take on Cork. Joe Egan, is still participating in trials for the boy’s football. We wish him well! Perhaps we will have three pupils wearing the county jersey on Munster championship day.
